What are the cosplay guidlines for Gate Cruise?2026-03-05T15:53:17+00:00

To ensure everyone has a fantastic time while staying shipshape with Royal Caribbean’s policies, please follow these “Cosplay Rules” when planning your off-world attire:

  • No “Toy” Weapons: This is a firm rule. Please leave all zat’nik’tels, P90 replicas, or any other realistic (or toy) weaponry at home. They are strictly prohibited on board.

  • Mask Policy: Full-face masks (such as Horus or Anubis guards) are only permitted during designated group events. Do not wear anything that obscures your face while walking through general ship areas.

  • Keep it “PG”: Ensure your uniforms and costumes are family-friendly. Avoid excessive nudity, offensive slogans, or crude language.

  • Safety & Sensibility: Skip the “truly scary” stuff. Avoid excessive fake blood or large, cumbersome prosthetics that might impede movement in tight hallways or frighten younger passengers.

  • General Decorum: While we encourage SG-1 or Atlantis gear, please keep your costumes practical for a cruise environment to ensure the comfort of all guests.

Are all announced guests guaranteed to be on the cruise?2026-03-06T14:15:28+00:00

While we strive to ensure that all announced guests appear as scheduled, unforeseen circumstances such as professional commitments, illness, or other factors beyond their control may result in cancellations. In such cases, we will update our guests as quickly as possible and work to provide alternative experiences or opportunities where feasible. No discounts or refunds will be given based on single cast member cancellations. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility.

Will the entire ship be Stargate fans?2026-03-09T13:30:02+00:00

Gate Cruise is anticipated to be a group of under 1000 people on a ship that holds up to 4000 guests. All of our Gate Cruise events will be held in private spaces within the ship. All events compliment the ships event schedule. You will be able to enjoy all of the included cruise events along side our Gate Cruise private events. You will receive credentials upon arrival on board which will admit you into our private events.

Official Booking & Access Policy

Please be advised that The Vacationeer and Gate Cruise hold the exclusive rights to all special events, cast interactions, and private gatherings for this sailing. To ensure a seamless experience, please note the following mandatory requirements:

Exclusive Booking: To participate in the curated Gate Cruise experience, you must book your stateroom directly through The Vacationeer.

Third-Party Bookings: Reservations made via Royal Caribbean’s website, or any other travel agency, are considered “Standard Cruise Only.” These bookings do not grant access to our private itinerary, shows, or cast members.

No Transfers: We cannot accept booking transfers from other agencies or existing direct bookings with the cruise line. Only new bookings within our official group block qualify for event credentials.

Onboard Security: Strict security will be enforced at all event entrances. Credentials (badges/IDs) will be verified against our official manifest. There is no option to “buy-in” to Gate Cruise once on board.

Credential Integrity: Badges are non-transferable and exclusive to the original purchaser. Sharing credentials with guests booked outside the group will result in the immediate revocation of access for all parties involved without a refund.

Cast Access: Access to the Gate Cruise cast and performers is limited strictly to our private events. Outside guests will not have access to these individuals during the sailing.

Cancellation Responsibility: If you have already booked elsewhere, any cancellation fees, penalties, or lost deposits incurred by moving your reservation to our agency are the sole responsibility of the guest. The Vacationeer is not liable for costs associated with existing third-party reservations.
